JobNimbus Integration
Purpose to allow SPOTIO users an integration that will automatically create a contact in JobNimbus instead of manually adding each contact into the app. Who those customers or potential customers looking to automate data from SPOTIO over to a simple CRM and project management software Available to trialing or paying customers on all available plans Goal save the customer time, no manual entry of data into JobNimbus; and no frustration of double entries for our customers who use JobNimbus as a CRM (Customer Relationship Management). Getting Started Log into account via Web App at app.spotio.com, continue with following steps Once you are logged in for to Settings > Integrations > JobNimbus Required fields to fill out: API Token (Supplied byJobNimbus) Spotio Status (Spotio supplied BUT it needs to match JobNimbus) JobNimbus Status Name (Supplied by JobNimbus) JobNimbus Contact Type Name (Supplied by JobNimbus) Step 1: Go to Integrations and verify the information they need from job nimbus: API Token/Key - this HAS to be given to the customer by JobNimbus Support. You can provide the customer with “support@jobnimbus.com”, JobNimbus support will be able to give them the API Key required for this integration. The minimum length of an API Key for us has been 143 character count Status Name What is Status Name? If the account is set up then you will be able to find it by adding a new contact Where? On the right you will find a drop down called Status and you will find your choices The status name in SPOTIO needs to match one of the 5 statuses in JobNimbus. These are defaulted inside Job Nimbus as: Lead Qualifying Signed Contract Lost Appointment Set Contact Type What is contact type? If the account is set up then you will find it by adding a new contact Where? On the right side you will find a drop down called Contact Type These are customizable you can go to Settings > Contact Workflows within JobNimbus to edit the contact type The existing contact type/contact workflow HAS to be visible to ALL users inside Job Nimbus What can you match? When it comes time to match Spotio to JobNimbus Fields there are currently 10 available fields Spotio can match to within JobNimbus: First Name Last Name Email Website Mobile Phone Zip Home Phone Work Phone Fax City Important - If they update an existing pin in Spotio, that is to the same status that pushes over to JobNimbus. Current Questions/Issues Encountered: Getting the format of the API Key drilled down Spotio Customized Status not matching JN status name but still having integration work Spotio User’s emails not matching JN or not being added in JN JN First Name pushing over as empty in Spotio - only last name is syncing Updating a pin inside Spotio with the same JN trigger duplicates the pin in JN versus updating the contact Cannot delete the JN Status Name word Cannot delete the JN contact Type Name word
