Importing from Sales Rabbit - Email Steps
There are 4 changes that you will have to make in order to make the import work into Spotio: Next to the lead owner column you will need to add a new column and add the email address that you entered into Spotio instead of the reps name. When you go to map the fields you will find that the email address column is the one you will pair with the Spotio assigned to (email address field). [Optional] Next to the Sales Rabbit Status you will want to add a new column and make a column for Spotio Status and add the correct name of the custom status you entered in SPOTIO. If they are the same between the two applications you can skip this step. You will notice that the first and last name of the home owner are in separate columns so you will need to combine them. Here is a quick link to a Microsoft support forum that will show you how to combine them: https://support.office.com/en-us/article/Combine-text-from-two-or-more-cells-into-one-cell-81ba0946-ce78-42ed-b3c3-21340eb164a6.The formula ends up being =(O2&" "& P3). You will have to add a column into add this formula into so the data has some place to go. Lastly, you will need to spilt up the Created Date/Created time field from one column into two because in Spotio there is a Created Date field and Created Time field. You will have to repeat this process for the updated date and time field too. Here is a support page that may help you out: https://support.office.com/en-US/article/Split-names-by-using-the-Convert-Text-to-Columns-Wizard-39F7B055-6B39-4CB5-9512-13CC19B3A807. I found that when I did it worked best to do a fixed width split, with the date in one column, the space in a second and the time in a third. Then you hit next and there you will highlight each column. For the Date select column data format - Date MDY, the second column select do not import (skip) and then for the time leave it as Date MDY. Once you have those three things update you can hit finish. To just make sure it is cleaned up and ready for the import I just formatted the column cells and hit date and picked the 3/14/15 option with out the * at the front for the date column. I repeated the process on the time column and formatted it with time and hit the 13:30 option. If you compete that you should be good to go.
