Acculynx Native ntegration within SPOTIO

How to connect your Acculynx CRM with SPOTIO One option to connect your SPOTIO and Acculynx accounts, you will need Administrator rights to both platforms. In this article we will walk you through two different ways to integrate your Acculynx account with SPOTIO, a native SPOTIO integration using API keys from Acculynx or a native Acculynx integration using API keys from SPOTIO. Native SPOTIO Integration This integration is housed within your SPOTIO account under the integration tab. An admin will need to generate an API key from Acculynx to set up this integration.  Get Your Acculynx API Key Once logged in as the Admin in Acculynx: Click on Marketplace in the top tool bar of your screen. Select AppConnections from the drop-down menu. On the menu, scroll to the section labeled Advanced API Connections. Once you are in this section, select API Keys. API Keys pop out will appear.  Click on the blue Manage Connections button. Manage Connections pop-out will appear, select the blue New  Fill out the pop-up for creating the API key. For key name you can enter SPOTIO and then you can choose the lead source into which you want all your SPOTIO leads to be created. For example, you might choose canvassing. When you’re finished filling out the form, click Create Key. Your key will now be listed with any other API Keys you may have already created.  You will see a Copy Key button to the left of the bolded name of the key you created.  Click on the ‘Copy Key button to copy the API key. **Note - you will need to create an API key for each lead source. SPOTIO Integration Connection Once you are logged in as the SPOTIO Admin: Click on the Settings gear in the bottom left-hand corner. Go to Integrations. Inside the Integrations tab, click on Acculynx. In the Acculynx token field, paste in the API key that you created from Acculynx and hit Next. Once you have connected your API Key, you will be able to set up your connection. You will give the connection a name and then check the box for Selective Sync. This enables you to choose when you want records to be created in Acculynx based on specific criteria in SPOTIO. You can get as granular as you need by combining Stages with specific Custom Field choices (needs to be a single or multi-choice custom field). In the Selective Sync, choose the SPOTIO Stages that you are wanting to use as the trigger for pushing the data over to Acculynx. This means that any time a lead moves into the Stage(s) you have chosen then it will push over to Acculynx. Once you have set up how you want to push over the data, you will be asked to name it as your default sync settings and then hit ‘next step’. Field Mapping is how you are going to push over the lead’s details into Acculynx. There are 2 required fields that you have to map over: First Name & Last Name. You can push over additional information such as phone number, email etc. You don’t have to worry about the address as we will automatically push that information over. Once you have finished mapping the fields, you can turn on the integration.  To complete this, click Save. We recommend testing the integration by going into your SPOTIO Account and create a test record that matches your mapping information to make sure it pushed over to your Acculynx. Pro Tip: The integration with SPOTIO and Acculynx is a one time one way push from SPOTIO to Acculynx. We recommend choosing a single stage as the trigger so you don't have duplicates. You can also choose to combine with a custom field meaning that you can choose to require certain data to be entered and the certain answer to be chosen to push into Acculynx. For example: If you are just pushing by Stage then you can push by Stage equals Closed - Won. For Example: If you want to push by Stage plus a Custom Field answer then you can push by Stage equals Closed - Won and Custom Field 'Bundle Interest' is Bundle A. Once you have set up how you want to push over the data, you will be asked to name it as your default sync settings and then hit ‘next step’. Pro Tip: Not all of your Custom Fields from SPOTIO can be mapped over to Acculynx if there isn't a field to sync with. However, you can sync more than one Custom Field into the Acculynx Notes section. Deleting a Connection If you need to remove a connection with Acculynx:  Click the Edit icon for the connection you are wanting to remove. Tap on the trash can icon on the Settings for Setup Connection. A pop-up will appear asking you to confirm deletion. As the message notes, this action cannot be undone. You can hit Yes, Delete to remove the connection. Native Acculynx Integration This integration is housed within your Acculynx account under the AppConnections menu. An admin will need to generate an API key from SPOTIO to set up this integration.  Get Your SPOTIO API Key Once logged in as the Admin in SPOTIO: Click on Settings Gear in the left-side toolbar of your screen. Select Integrations from the top menu options. On the menu, click on the option labeled API Access. Once you are in this section, select the yellow button Get New API Keys. This will generate a Client ID and Secret token, you can name your API key best practice is to name it Acculynx so it is easily identifiable.  Highlight and copy the Client ID and Secret. Paste this information into your Acculynx account. Once you click Save Name the secret token will disappear Pro Tip: Save your client ID and secret to a note while building this integration.     FAQs How will the data pushed into Acculynx come over? Using the SPOTIO/Acculynx integration, all the data that is pushed will come over as a Lead. There are duplicate leads in my Acculynx account, why is this happening? The most likely reason this is happening is if you set up your selective sync to push over more than one SPOTIO stage.  Because there isn’t a search component with the integration when new data is pushed over, Acculynx doesn’t look for existing leads to add new information to, it just creates new leads.  To reduce the likelihood of having duplicates you will want to adjust your selective sync to only push one trigger in your pipeline to Acculynx. All my leads are coming through as unassigned, why aren’t the users tied to the leads? This is because the mapping from Record owner in SPOTIO is not mapped with Acculynx. When you are mapping the fields between SPOTIO and Acculynx (Step 3), make sure the Lead Owner Email from SPOTIO's side is mapped with Sales Person Email on Acculynx. These email addresses need to match each other. I have one parent Acculynx account but it is split into several offices for my company, how do I set up my SPOTIO to match? You need to generate multiple API keys and create multiple connections. This is where mapping custom fields becomes handy because you can have the Stage the same but use specific Custom Filed criteria as part of the trigger. Where do I tag the lead source? When you generate the API key in Acculynx, you have the option to select a lead source so that everything coming from SPOTIO will have the same source. Each lead source will need to have it's own connection.
